I Am Spent!
So as most of you know I am in cosmetology school and am also working as a voice teacher and choir director. So I am really not sure what free time is. Do not get me wrong I am very grateful for being productive however I am feeling really old. For you see it is Friday night and instead of going out and living the single life. I am on the computer writing my blog with plans to curl up with my latest book before I go to bed by 9:30 or 10. I have definately changed. What do you guys think? Should I change my old lady ways and get myself a social life? I am anxious to hear your opinions but right now I have a date with my pajamas and my book.

So I love your routine! But I guess since you are single yes you should try to be somewhat social, especially on a friday NIGHT! You still have to blog though, I look forward to what you have to say!
A body needs rest after a stressful week so enjoy and party on Saturday night!
I don't know, Leah. It's 9pm, I'm already in bed typing on my lap top, watching the same Golden Girls episodes that I have watched a million times as Kacey snores peacefully next to me. I've always been a drag though. Remember my 16th birthday slumber party? You guys were partying and I was asleep in my brothers room by 10pm. Truthfully I am pretty content with being in bed right now. I may look young but my spirit is 87.
If your plans don't include some hot guy, then yes it's okay to rest on Friday nights then have your fun on Saturday nights!!
Yes, I agree with Elizabeth. And you can meet the hot guy at church, right. You just stay home in blogland.
Yeah....you're old....Just pack it up and get some cats. Name them stuff like Bruce, Stephan
(ste-fon) and Kent. They can sleep in your bed and be your boyfriends.
Oh Rachel I like that.
we can start calling her the cat lady.
Listen, I just don't get it. you need a socail life. You will never catch the man of your dreams by being in bed on a Friday night. you need to join a bowling league, or a book club, or some other club or league of whatever kind
Leah,I met my man at church. Where are you supposed to go on a Friday nite to meet guys? Enjoy your book and just be sure to go to church on Sunday. you will meet him when you are in the right place at the right time. I know I say lame things but often there is truth in my lame words.
p.s. leah, I put pictures of my little doggy on my blog. The mountain man is Aaron. He has since shaved the beard off.
It's all about the untapped resources, you need to go out dancing, that's how I caught Nate...ok, that's a huge lie, Nate says he will never dance with me. The point is, you need to go dancing!!!
Leah--I feel ya! I'm TOTALLY exhausted on Friday nights. But girl, shake it while ya got it, because someday when you're really old and yo' man always wants to stay home and watch ESPN, you'll be reminiscing about the good ol' days. :)
LOVE YA!
Well Leah....I met my husband through you, so, I'm not quite sure what to tell ya. But I do think that you should get out there and enjoy yourself!! By the way, why am I not a friend on your blog? Am I not good enough? :)
You need a social life. Cats are not the answer. Also, when you do meet THE man, and he asks so what do you do with your time, you don't want the answer to be 'I sit at home and feed my cats'.
Go and do the things you'd like to do with the love of of your life - just do them with friends and new people until you meet him.
Sorry to be so bossy, but such glorious hair should not be kept at home on a Friday night.
