This ones for you Margie!

My life pretty much consists of school these days. The most interesting thing about me would have to be Design Team. It is a group within the school that you qualify for when you are at 1000 hrs. If you are chosen then you are able to represent the school at events such as bridal shows, charity events, and other events. I was recently able to represent my school at an event for cancer awareness. Police officers raised money by shaving their heads. We were the shavers. After we did that we volunteered our services to the public for haircutting and their donations went to the cause as well. I had the opportunity to cut 10" off of one of the local beauty queens for donation. I gave her the cutest a-line bob. She cried when we cut the ponytail but loved her haircut. It was really fun and I felt honored to be a part of such a great cause. Those type of events really hit home since I lost my grandpa to the terrible disease. I am loving school and like to think that I am doing well. I still have a great deal to learn but I am positive that I am right where I need to be. I will post soon so stay tuned!

That is so neat Leah. What a great thing to be part of. Speaking of haircuts, I need to have some work done myself :)

My hair is really long. I am realizing why I have not had long hair like this since I was 7 years old. It is because I am too lazy to make it look pretty.
You've come a long way, baby! I always knew that great things were in your future.
